This is just a quick link post on recycling of electronic equipment and their eco-friendly manufacture. In last few days I came across quite a few websites and organisations that focus on helping end-users and manufacturers in knowing what to do in order to ensure the impact of your gadget use on the environment is the least possible. Here are few useful links:- Electronics TakeBack Coalition (ETBC): Got to know about them through Annie Leonard of Story of Stuff, thanks Annie!
- Greenpeace Guide to greener electronics: The biggest names in electronics have just sat their first global exam on their green credentials. They were ranked on their use of toxic chemicals and electronic waste (e-waste) policies.
- 1800ewaste: Australia's leading ewaste collection and recycling service.
- eCycling, US EPA: EPA is working to educate consumers and others on why it is important to reuse and recycle electronics and what the options are for safe reuse and recycling of these products.

we are called "consumers"... I'd rather be a "conserver". I'm so glad some of these companies are taking responsibility to help reduce the "consumer" impact on our environment. Nice article :)
